Let’s Develop and Apply Blockchain Industry-Specific Advertising Requirements Rather Than Blanket Bans
I have a constructive proposal regarding crypto advertising: I believe it’d be better for platforms to develop and apply a set of blockchain industry-specific advertising requirements rather than imposing blanket bans.
Many companies, including BitBounce, already have internal policies for our marketing per advice from legal counsel. For instance, we avoid marketing Credo for the potential to profit from gains and we try to craft our statements in a fair and balanced way.
This more nuanced approach would still reduce the chance that advertising platforms are misused while preserving their use for spreading adoption of legitimate, innovative projects.
